A sailing vacation in the Maddalena Archipelago is an opportunity not to be missed!
Sailing from Cannigione to the wonderful bays and islands that make it one of the most beautiful places that can be visited in Europe will be the highlight of your next cruise. Especially when we will visit the famous Budelli and its renowned pink sand beach. Our tour will then continue in the southwest of Corsica with a beautiful crossing of the strip of sea that divide it from Sardinia know as “Bocche di Bonifacio”, that will end in a quaint town of the Islands Lavezzi. To reach the embarkation point, the nearest airport is in Olbia, from there it is possible to organize transfers to Cannigione easily enough.

Sardina Sailing Holidays Route

Day 1 – Cannigione – Caprera

Welcome on board at 6 pm. in Cannigione, where we will spend our first night getting acquainted and enjoying the typical sardinian atmosphere.

Day 2 – La Maddalena

La Maddalena , the capital of the Archipelago is a small town where you can find all kinds of shops , restaurants and pizzerias . The island is dotted with numerous beaches : Spalmatore , northeast , where you can stay at the buoy; Frenchman’s Cove, a sheltered mooring, just behind Cala Gavetta. Or Porto Massimo, in the northern part of the island.

Day 3 – Lavezzi – Bonifacio

A beautiful sailing through the Archipelago of Maddalena , the Strait of Bonifacio and Lavezzi, in our opinion the most beautiful island in the world! Crystal clear waters, deserted in the inland and wild with granite rocks to climb and a small legendary cemetery , recalling the story of a famous shipwreck . Then we sail to the beautiful Bonifacio , set along a fjord south of Corsica. Here we reccomend to visit the Rocca, the summit of the town where you might spend a fantastic evening in the small harbour best fish restaurant or the more renowned restaurant “ Le Caravelle”, prices here are not cheap but their fish dishes are to die for!

Day 4 – Budelli, Razzoli e Santa Maria

This day we will reach the most famous beach in all of Sardina the mitic Budelli and her famours pink sand beaches, which owes her beautiful colours to thousands upon thousands of crushed corals, the vibrancy of this panorama united with the shades of the granite rocks emerging from the turquoise sea make this place one of the most breath taking in the whole world.

Day 5 – Spargi

Lapped by crystal clear waters, including Cala Corsair one of the most beautiful where sailing along the east coast is a succession of coves ( Cala Soraja, Cala Granara , Cala Conner, Canniccio Cala, Cala Petranera ) until reaching Cala Grano, where you can anchor and go ashore to follow a path that quickly leads to the fortifications of Punta Zanotto. About a mile north of Punta Zanotto is the dry Washington, an attraction for diving lovers. Here we can relax , enjoying the crystal clear water and the scents of the Mediterranean ..

Day 6 – Caprera

Sailing back south to Caprera, we can visit the beautiful Cala Italia with its natural pool of Caribbean azure waters. For those who wish it, Caprera is beautiful to visit by land, perhaps renting a Quod for more fun and a spirit of adventure.

Day 7 – Cannigione

Set sails to Caprera, sailing toward the Gulf of Saline; we will be able to admire the natural sculptures south of Palau, as the famous “Capo d’Orso”, a giant granite rock with the appearance of a bear. In the afternoon we set sail for the Gulf of Arzachena, where we will spend the night, after a delicious typical dinner at a farmhouse near Cannigione. Disembarking the morning after (Saturday) at 10 am
