Day 1 Saturday – ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN, KOS MARINA, KOS TOWN
Start your Greek sailing getaway in the 3rd largest island in the Dodecanese complex, Kos. Here you will find stunning clear waters surrounded by a vibrant sailing city with excellent restaurants and bars. Spend your evening admiring the sunset from one of these spots before setting off on your island-hopping adventure the next morning!
Day 2 Sunday – LAKKI, LEROS
Start your journey with a few hours of relaxing sailing to the small island of Leros. Just far enough away to get you into the swing of your sailboat, by the time you arrive at Lakki Port you’ll already feel like a true traveller of the seas! Mostly untouched by the waves of tourism that have flowed to the Greek Islands in recent years, this spot is an authentic introduction to the Dodecanese beauty and tranquility.
DAY 3 Monday – LIPSI
Continue your island hopping journey with the tiny, idyllic Lipsi. This oasis of white sandy beaches and azure water has only one town and main harbour meaning you will be able to relax feeling as though you have truly escaped civilisation. With quaint market shops, traditional tavernas and the stunning Monastery of St. John, Lipsi is the perfect location to get a taste of old fashioned Greek island life.
DAY 4 Tuesday – SKALA HARBOUR, PATMOS
Sail back to reality Skala Harbour on the historic island of Patmos. Here you will find a tapestry of whitewashed houses, interspersed with flowered courtyards, delicious tavernas and colourful shops. Often referred to as ‘The Jerusalem of the Aegean’, Patmos is a great spot for travelling history buffs as you can take time to explore churches that house manuscripts and artefacts dating back to the 11th century.
DAY 5 Wednesday – AGIA MARINA, LEROS
Known for being one of the most beautiful spots on the island of Leros, Agia Marina boasts incredible crystal-clear waters that are ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The main highlight of this stop-off is the Medieval castle which sits dramatically up on the hill above the town. Similarly, four windmills also sit above the town, and a 20-minute winding walk up-hill to the windmills in the late afternoon will reward you with incredible sunset views. One of the windmills has been converted into a cafe-bar, making for a great evening spot to retire after a day of sailing and exploring Agia Marina.
DAY 6 Thursday – KALIMNOS
Your last stop before returning to Kos is the ancient fishing town of Kalimnos. Surrounded by lush, green mountains, relax in the peaceful harbour of Kalimnos Town before exploring the patchwork of colourful, winding streets that surround the harbour and are littered with shops, cafes and museums.
DAY 7 Friday – RETURN TO KOS
Finally it’s time to return to the beautiful Kos Marina for your last evening in the Dodecanese. Take this chance to explore more of what you have loved most about your charter. Whether it’s discovering more about historical sites, delicious cuisine, or taking in the sea air on the marina – Kos is a bustling and vibrant place to spend your final evening in Greece!
